One Response to Union

  1. Rex Smith says:

This station which is the flagship of the Yonge-University-Spadina line is in a sorry state. We need to return this station back to how it looked in 1954 and then give it a modern look. I would propose that the whole platform be retiled in brighter colours (possibly white or light grey with a green trim) and the name of major landmarks be integrated into the station’s design (i.e., Roger’s Centre, Air Canada Centre). I would also propose that the hockey art that is currently in College Station be moved here to better reflect where the Toronto Maple Leafs now play. Also Toronto Raptors and Toronto Blue Jays photos should also be added to the station. This station is in the heart of the tourist area of our downtown and currently the subway portion of this station looks absolutely hidieous! It is an embarassment for the TTC and the City of Toronto.
